Leaders Are Made, Not Born
Business Coaching
Are you a business owner looking to instill a positive culture within your organisation, with great people who feel valued and are motivated to help deliver your future goals?
A programme of business coaching will help you instill a coaching culture across your teams and support your people to become happier, healthier, and more effective.
At Evergrow Coaching, we help employees and leaders understand themselves better, creating space for them to process and explore their problems to create more optimum solutions for themselves and the organisation.
More and more organisations are leveraging the power of workplace coaching, and the International Coaching Federation have recorded that more than 4 in 5 organisations plan to expand the scope of their managers/leaders using coaching skills during the next five years.
This is because, like me, they believe that coaching skills are fundamental for leaders and managers, and that being coached is the first step to understanding its impact.
4 in 5 Organisations to enhance
Coaching Skills and Training in the next 5 years
Workplace coaching can help employees feel seen, and it empowers them to become more effective not only in the workplace, but in life more generally. With mental health having an ever greater impact on workplace absence, coaching can also positively contribute towards creating a happier, healthier, and more effective workforce.
What does workplace coaching look like?
Here are some generally agreed characteristics of coaching in business:
-
It focuses on improving performance and developing an individual. For example, identifying their strengths, and leaning into their development areas

-
It's often, but not always, a non-directive form of development.

-
Clients personal life may be discussed but the emphasis is on performance at work.
-
Coaching activities have both organisational and individual goals.

-
It's a skilled activity, which should be delivered by people who are trained to do so. This can be line managers and others trained in coaching skills.
Coaching has been shown to help increase individual and team well-being and can help employees thrive in the workplace by building confidence and empowerment in their respective roles.
What does our behavioural skills training look like?
We believe understanding ourselves and others is the secret to building stronger relationships and teams, and we can help you get there through our DISC personality preference training.

The DISC system is a strength-based model and provides companies with an effective tool to fully develop the talent that already exists within the current team, increase productivity, enhance teamwork and cooperation and ultimately increase your bottom line.
As licensed DISC trainers, we can facilitate group DISC awareness training to help your teams identify their own and others’ behavioural drivers, and ultimately communicate more effectively.
We can also train your Learning and Development teams to run individual profiling across your business, helping you embed a coaching culture across your organisation.

About Darren
My corporate background was in Customer Retention in the Utilities sector, where I lead teams in Planning & Performance, Forecasting and Planning, and Strategy. My move into coaching started there and evolved into starting my own coaching business after taking voluntary redundancy in 2020.

It always sounds like a cliche, but I am always results-oriented. As a trained statistician, with a MSc in Business Analysis and Consulting, my goal is always to help you achieve tangible results and measurable growth.
